Out With Vacation in With School

Today is Monday the first day back from vacation. I got back from New Jersey on Friday. In web design we slowly got back into our school work. We got our graph work organized and hyper linked then we where given our next project. We have to take a fictional character and make a web page about our character. I chose HOMER SIMPSON because I know a lot about him and that will defiantly help me out in making the web page.So far I have planned my design for the page on paper and have started to get the template set up its going to be a lot of work but hopefully when its done it will look good.2/28/11

MORE tables

Today is Friday and this is our last class before February Vacation! Anyways in web design class we continued to work out of the books. We had four pages with tables to make and so far i have completed 3 and about to work on my next one. My stupid i pod died today so i had to use kiss108 live radio off the computer so i need to remember that website in case it happens again. Happy February Vacation see ya in a week!!!2/18/11

Finishing Up

Today is Thursday and after our short class yesterday due to the half day we continued to work on tables. We where given a checklist of all of the table's we have made and we had to make sure that they where finished. I had to finish up some of my tables but when we where done we where given pages in the book to find and remake the graph. I just completed one and i am about to start the next one. Mrs.Engval doesn't want us to start a new unit because we would forget about it after the vacation which is only a day away. I am so exited but i need to finish these tables before that so i got to go work on them.2/17/11

Transparent Pictures

Today is Wednesday and we have a half day in web design. It was only a 45 minute class so we didn't do much. We made a pictures background transparent and now we are going to watch jeopardy with the computer.2/17/11

Watson and Jepordy

Today is Tuesday and in web design class we watched a video about AI (Artificial Intelligence). It was about the robot that is being made to be used as a player in jeopardy. The robots name is Watson named after Shurlock Homes.When we where done with that video we where going to watch the actual show of Jeopardy but our teachers computer was acting up so we just decided to watch it tomorrow on the half day. We used the rest of the day to work on MORE tables. Thankfully it was a short project and only took me like a half an hour.2/16/11

More Table Practice

Today is Monday and in web design class we continued to work on tables. I started the new table practice activity and the more tables i make the more i slowly go insane. Its so much code and gets extremely repetitive after a couple of rows. I completed 3 of the 5 graphs and I think that if i got to continue with more graphs i may freak out. We will have a short week this week with a half day on Wednesday and after this week is.....FEBRUARY VACATION!2/15/11

Finishing My Calender

Today is Friday and today in Web Design we finished our calender of our birth month. I ran into a couple of problems that caused me a great amount of time and got me frustrated. Eventually i asked the teacher and she solved it in seconds witch was GREAT. After i got over my struggles we where introduced to our new project witch was table practice. Its basically different arrangements of tables with aligning,spanning, and many other skills we just learned. I will start it know but probably end up finishing it some other day. Spanning Tables

Today is Thursday  and in web design class today we worked more on tables. We started of the class of with a indivitual project of making a tic tac toe board. That took us a good 25 minutes and then we started to learn how to span tables. For example, we learned how to merge cells and delete cells. After we where done learning about that we where given the project of making our own month calender. We have to include our birthday. Its alot of work so i go to go get working on it.2/10/11

Creating Tables

Today is Wednesday and in web design we learned how to make tables in a website. We started off the class with a minor quiz on what the website template is. I feel  i did very good on that. After we where done with our quiz we all got together to learn how to insert a template into a website. It was a lot more work than i though there was a lot more code than I would ever think. In the end i got it all and now i know how to make a table.2/9/11

Making a Image a Link

Today we had a 2hour delay this morning but thankfully we still had web design. Due to the delay we only had a hour class but that was just enough to learn how to align text, and make an image a link. I am not sure if we are still going to make our own Imagine project but we will probably talk about it tomorrow.2/8/11

Finished The Imagine Project

Today is Monday and today in web design i completed my imagine project. It took me about 2 hours to complete but it looks great. My teacher just told me our new project. In Imagine we had to make a website for John Lennon's Imagine song with his lyrics but know we are going to make a website for a song that we want to do. I still don't know what song to do but i will figure it out and start working on it tomorrow.2/7/11

Starting Imagine

Today is Friday and we finished the Color Box project. After we finished our project we started our new project called Imagine. It is a song by John Lennon and we are using his lyrics. There is alot of stuff that we need to go into our book to figure out but I belive that i am doing good. We will continue on Monday and maybe have a full week of school.2/4/11

Color box

Today is Thursday because we had two snow days this week and a 2 hour delay today witch cut our class time in half. Anyways we continued working on our Color Box project and i am almost three quarters of the way done and i will finish it in the next class. I hope that we have a full week next week so that we can keep our February vacation.2/4/11
